Food Pantry
Love Your Neighbor
The Love Your Neighbor Food and Friendship Ministry provides grocery staples to approximately 25-36 families on a regular basis. This ministry also provides groceries for families with immediate short-term needs.
When grocery shopping, please consider picking up items for the food pantry from this shopping list. If shopping is not your favorite thing, the ministry accepts monetary donations. Please designate your gift in the dropdown box for "Food and Friendship (Food Pantry)."
If you're interested in volunteering or to receive more information for this ministry, please contact the
church office.
Thanksgiving Food Pantry
Share the Blessing
Share The Blessing is a Thanksgiving meal ministry that provides a complete meal to families in need of a little extra help during the holiday season. This ministry has been a tremendous relief to so many families over the years. We work with guidance counselors, family support workers, and social workers throughout Western Albemarle County who refer families to the project. Groceries are distributed the weekend before Thanksgiving and are a complete Thanksgiving feast. Beginning in August each year, we begin collecting these items:
Frozen turkeys
Green Beans (50 oz cans)
Macaroni & Cheese (boxed)
Gravy (can or jar)
Instant Mashed Potatoes
Stuffing (boxed)
Cranberry sauce (can)
Sweet Potatoes (50 oz cans)
Frozen pies (any variety)
We have food drives and work with partnering churches and businesses to collect all the food for our ministry. Volunteer opportunities are available for two food drives at Crozet Market, pack night and distribution in the church parking lot.
Love Your Neighbor
Back to School Supply Drive
Each summer, Crozet Baptist Church along with other local churches and organizations collect school supplies for Brownsville Elementary, Henley Middle, and Western Albemarle High School. These materials go to children who otherwise wouldn't have the resources they need to have a successful year of learning.
Along with this celebration of a new year of learning, there is a Blessing of the Backpacks and Back to School Luncheon following the service.
Caring for others
Caring Committee
We take away the stress of planning, preparing and providing a meal by offering a place for families to gather during their time of loss and grief.
The ministry is comprised of a group of men and women, young and old and everyone in between, who are committed to serve alongside one another to minister to these families showing God’s love in their time of loss. No one is too old, or too young to serve.

Senior Adult Ministries
The first Tuesday of each month there is a Friendship Luncheon at noon in the Fellowship Hall. For $10, participants receive lunch and there is an interesting presentation by a guest speaker. This event is actually open to all ages, and guests are asked to register ahead of time so that there will be enough food for everyone.
