Chuck Miller

Director of Children’s Ministries

Chuck Miller, a lifelong Virginian, was born and raised in Winchester and educated at the University of Virginia. There he met his best friend and soon-to-be wife, Vicki. After college, they remained in Charlottesville, then moved to the western Albemarle area, first Greenwood in 1982, then Crozet in 1987. While living in Greenwood, they first attended and soon joined Crozet Baptist Church. They have two adult children who grew up in CBC and still attend here today. Their grandchildren are now a part of CBC’s children’s ministry, which makes Chuck’s role as Director of Children’s Ministry extra special. Chuck is a retired English/language arts teacher, who spent 43 years in the classroom, 40 of them locally at J.T. Henley Middle School. But, his real experience in children’s ministry comes from over 30 years of working with kids as a volunteer here at CBC. In many of those volunteer roles, he has served alongside his wife, Vicki. Chuck feels fortunate and blessed to be able to serve as CBC’s Director of Children’s Ministry.
